Anatomy of Mission
Acts 18:1-28 by Adam Witanowski
Every church that exists in Sydney started of as a church plant. Some pastor loved the city, loved the people, saw a need, and made the crazy move to leave the stability of whatever life he had and decided to plant a church. Friends don't let friends plant churches alone so some other, perhaps equally crazy people went with them... low and behold, thousands of churches were planted across Australia at some point. Paul lands in Sin City (could easily ready Sydney... shrug, I am just saying), Corinth, the capitol of debauchery and he sets about being a church planter, not just a missionary. He sets about finding a core team, a venue, getting cadres going, and preaching Jesus. Effectively this is what each cadre is doing in its context every week... This week on Sunday we look at the anatomy of mission and how Cadres reach a city for Jesus.
